Greeted with warmth true to the Thai culture of exquisiteness and hospitality, The “Thammasat Asia Moot Corp ’09” welcomed the 12 Finalist teams to the Opening Ceremony in the Grand Ballroom at the country’s most renowned Boutique Hotel, “The Four Seasons”. An extravagant dance performance in full Thai cultural grandiose soon followed a quick briefing session by Bill Randall, the key organizing member of this event. We were enthralled and felt extremely proud to represent the NUS Business School in this exclusive “by invitation only” Business Plan competition organized by the Thammasat University. It had taken a lot to reach here, and this moment was truly rewarding.

NUS Teams Shine in B-Plan Competitions

NUS Business school teams participated in two business plan competitions: Thammasat Asia Moot Corp, and McGinnis Venture Competition 2007.

Asia Moot Corp is the premier intercollegiate business plan competition in the region. The mission of Asia Moot Corp is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit and the ability of future managers in Asia who are receiving business education from the region’s leading business schools.NUS Business school teams participated in two business plan competitions: Thammasat Asia Moot Corp, and McGinnis Venture Competition 2007.

Our team, New Vistas, won the SET Challenge round at Thammasat Asia Moot Corp 2007 in Bangkok. We did not breakthrough to the semi-finals in the normal round up. However, New Vitas came in top during the 3 challenge rounds.
